We stayed in the Twin Room. It was filthy.
I've stayed in many hotels in many countries. Some budget, some boutique, some expensive and some cheap. This hotel was particularly poor.
Check-in. No "how are you" or "have you travelled far". No mention of breakfast as I had booked a "cheap" room only rate apparently. No offer to carry my wife's bag.
Room. In a word, tiny. The only bit of space was filled with a chipped old bar fridge (which was also locked).
Bathroom. Hair on the bath tap, hair on the toilet and hair in the sink.
Furniture. Chipped, frayed and dubious stains on the chair. A television on some hideous industrial arm for something barley bigger than iPad.
My wife spilt a small amount tea trying to navigate the small space around the bed. I promptly wiped the carpet with a damp cloth which came away with much more filth than a small amount of tea could've left. I suspect the carpets hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.
I wouldn't stay here for half the amount I paid.More
