Description: The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield opened in 2008 to spectacular international reviews including Conde Nast's Red Hot List for best new hotels in the world. The oldest documented building in Beaconsfield, a fifteenth century coaching inn, has been meticulously restored and elaborately designed to provide dramatic architecture and uncompromised luxury. The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a unique oasis in quintessential England and the antithesis to bland hotels.

The food tasted good and the atmosphere of the place was very chilled and exotic. Unfortunately, some of the staff felt it appropriate to discuss their personal lives and arrange with one another, not at all quietly, who was working what shift in the middle of the restaurant. Our table was directly under a large heat lamp for some reason, which in turn, caused our cakes and clotted cream to melt and become rather unappetising. Had myself and my partner been sat at a different table, away from unnecessary heat lamps then we would have enjoyed this much more.

Following reading reviews for the Hotel & Restaurant chain, I was a little apprehensive, however, we really enjoyed our visit, didn't feel rushed to finish our meal and thought it was fairly good value - not as expensive as first thought! The atmosphere was enhanced by good music and unusual decor and the service was impeccable!

Went for an early dinner, which was delicious and the service was excellent. Worth going for the décor and atmosphere, even if only for a few drinks at the bar.
