My husband and I went here for breakfast after spending the night at the Hebridean Motel in Port Hood during out East Coast tour in June of this year. It is a 2.7 km. south on the Ceilidh Trail, Route 19. It was homey and comfortable and clean and not busy at that time we were there. We ordered at the counter and the owner brought our coffees then our food over to our table. Our bacon and egg breakfasts were tasty as were our coffees. The owner was friendly and the service was prompt. There were plenty of homemade pastries for sale. We’d definitely stop by here again if in the area.

We were in a hurry to get to the Cabot Trail but needed to catch lunch on the way, and found Sandeannies listed on Yelp. It looked like decent food and quick service, so we gave it a try. What a fantastic choice! The offerings include breakfast, lunch and baked goods. The chicken sandwich was hand sliced and served on thick, homemade bread. The BLT and honey mustard combined with the chicken for an excellent flavor blend. I did not have a chance to sample the other baked goods, but they looked of excellent quality. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table, which worked better for us since we were in a bit of a hurry. HIGHLY recommend.

Good coffee and snacks. I dropped in for the free wi-fi and a coffee. I bought homemade cookies and bread to go as it all looked very good. Casual, comfortable place with a local feeling. Reasonably priced. Friendly.

Breakfast all day long. Fish cakes are fabulous as is the breakfast sandwich. Fresh bakery is available (for sale) and the cafe is comfy and cozy. Free wifi too!

It's a small local eatery and nothing fancy but the food is good and the service is friendly. They do things like oatmeal and toast as an alternative to the normal huge sugar laden or salt laden fare you normally encounter.
