My lady and I arrived during a very hot September afternoon to play. The course was a dry from the heatwave and that made for a different type of golfing challenge. It's a beautiful course none the less and we had a hugely enjoyable game. We were accompanied at various holes by deer. The sight of stags clashing horns whilst we were putting out the 18th provided unexpected entertainment! We had travelled over from the UK to play on Vancouver Island. What absolutely stood out for us was the very friendly welcome from the guys in the pro shop and their kind help. Well done Fairwinds, maybe the course was a bit dry at the time, but the overall experience didn't dampen our day. We do hope to come back.

Looked forward to a round after several people recommended this course.
Very dry conditions and fairways were terrible, hardly any green grass. Didn't appear there had been any watering. Pro shop did not mention the course condition.
In a spectacular area, course layout ho hum.
Easy to walk.

Our group was there on the 21st of April. Everything was soaking wet. We were even loosing our balls on the fairways as the balls were plugging in between 2 to 3 inches. I would wait for at least 1 week of good dry weather before going back. The course is very nice and I hope to try it again when all is dry.

Found this course a little more challenging. Really beautiful course. Would definitely go back. We played after prime hours so very affordable too.
