My spouse and I went to the Logpile Lodge for a romantic dinner and it did not disappoint. We were fortunate enough to have a sit down vs buffet (although we've had that in the past and it was also phenomenal). We were provided a menu with a variety of options on making our reservation, pre-ordering at least a day in advance is required. Our meal consisted of homemade bread, soup, a salad and a main course (all included in the price). Each portion of the meal was brought out approximately 20 minutes after the last...encouraging us to linger over and thoroughly enjoy each dish. And everything we had was exquisite. We finished with a silky chocolate kahlua mousse...outstanding and a perfect way to end our meal. The soft music, low lighting and the alpine views around us created a very relaxed atmosphere.
The price runs around $50 p/p after taxes, but that would pretty much cover everything and for the quality of fresh and superbly prepared food it's worth it. Barb and Chris are wonderful hosts, providing enjoyable food, atmosphere and service. It's the "whole package" and the reason we go back for more!
