Description: A local institution for 15 years. The regulars might be known by name, but this is hardly a mom ‘n’ pop fare. This beachy, laid-back restaurant serves all-day West Coast inspired breakfast fare such as Waffles and Eggs Benny. A selection of healthy to-go salads and sandwiches make it a great stop to refuel before hitting the trails or beaches. The focus is local: Free range eggs, in-house baking and prompt friendly service. Fresh ground Fantastico coffee and aromas of fresh baked goods will keep you coming back for more.

Nice surprise find on a spur of the moment visit to Port Renfrew to walk a trail in the rain forest (great coastal views, atmospheric foggy day), and found the perfect lunch stop. Had a salmon burger which featured an oh so fresh perfectly cooked salmon fillet, fresh salad and a nice bread bun. Excellent coffee, prompt helpful service. Place is a relatively newly built wood cabin with a patio surrounded by giant red cedars, just on the main road. Was busy. Recommended.

Because we were in Port Renfrew at the end of September 2017 - the Coastal Kitchen was only open from 07:00 to 11:00 a.m. We had breakfast there both days we were in town. The food was very good (I really liked the French Toast). The server Taylor was very personable and we enjoyed our interactions with her. The service was very good. Paul & Carla

Very friendly service, although it can get quite busy during lunch time with so many tourists in the area. Great cappuccino. The halibut fish and chips were really good. Well made (done, but not dry), very tasty, and not greasy/drenching in oil. One of the best fish and chips in BC I've tried so far.

We came just before closing time and they decided to take our order anyways. The service was friendly and nice and the food was really good. I recommend this place for sure.

Stopped for lunch here. Excellent in house salads with great dressing. Had the Berry Goddess which had mixed greens, candied walnuts and a berry dressing. Really good! Cajun cod burger was tasty and prepared well but no hot spice to the cajun. Had cajun chicken added to the berry goddess salad. For some reason the chicken breast was sliced in three thin pieces so a little dry. Would go back though!
