Fishing trip was great, previous review seemed to mention lack of facilities suitable for women, but my experience was such that when the need arose, like all good mate's, their back was turned. Had a wonderful time, caught a spring and hooked a Hali, but with out the skipper helping me snag it, would have lost it. We would go again for sure, and have booked ahead for next year!

I know catching fish requires some luck; I have fished enough to understand sometimes the fish win.

Eight hours and nothing, the captain didn't even bite when I asked about cod, snapper, or other bottom reef fish.

I hope you like cigarette smoke because you will be guaranteed to get your fill. Did not even ask if we minded. (4 non-smokers to 1)

The boat is old and tired as well. To add insult to injury we left our fishing licenses on the boat. Maybe he can mail them back to us.

It was a nice boat ride on the Coast of British Columbia.

Had to wait awhile to respond...Funny... fish that was on, didn't reach the boat..
as I understand you fished for years...!!
Halibut...Hit, But didn't hook...?
Salmon.. (Chinook) Hit...Run with the LINE.. For some reason Lost...???
As for SMOKING...No one said a word.. smoking a cig an hr. makes me a chain smoker
The boat as you see in the Pic. is a 21 ft. Grady - White with a 2014\ 200 hp. Suzuki
4 stroke Motor
Oh yes.... Hope The Crabs were eatable...?
As for the Fishing Licenses ... you had them 3 days Later...
Didn't Know I was hired for BABY-SITTING...!!!!

John was a great guy but delivered no fish. Boat was too small for 5 people on board to fish. The toilet situation is not suited for women ( porta potty right out in the open) If you are allergic or hate the smell of cigarette smoke this is not the charter for you. Captain John is a chain smoker. Pretty much it was a $1000 all day boat ride.
