Great seafood in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina just a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Come join us at our new location just off of the Great Smoky Mountain Expressway (US Hwy 23) and see what everyone is talking about. From our full bar including beer and wine to appetizers, delicious entrees, and our house-made desserts, we are proud to serve you with our courteous wait staff in comfortable dining. We serve weekday lunch specials, and our full menu every evening and weekends with a special Sunday brunch.

After a short wait right at 6:00 on a Monday, we were waited on by a really nice waitress. The atmosphere made us think a bit of supper clubs up north, with an older crowd wrapping up their meals when we got there. We were able to try a local beer on tap, which was great. We got the local catfish and local trout, which were both really good and mild. The soup of the day and side of the day, French onion soup and garlic mashed potatoes, were delicious. The meal definitely tasted like we made it to North Carolina, hush puppies and all.

It was a family group of three and we all ended up ordering what they call "Not so Much Dinners" (basically half orders from main menu and reduced price). My meal was the Hawaiian Shrimp (half order of 5 shrimp beer-battered with the tail on, dipped in coconut and fried - comes with their special Jezebel sauce) Heaven! These are big shrimp and plenty for a nice meal with the half order. I get their red beans and rice - no Tabasco required - and for a little extra, I add their side salad. Sister-in-law had the trout with their seafood chowder as a side. Brother-in-law had the Flounder and the sweet potato casserole. Raves from both of them. I get to Lake Junaluska/Waynesville area twice a year and Maggie's is always on my must dine list. Absolutely the best restaurant in town. Service is excellent but you may have to wait to get a table. Maggie's is a very popular place.

My husband & I were vacationing in Robbinsville & were meeting up with friends for lunch who live in Hendersonville. We decided to meet in Waynesburg since it's a 1/2 way point. We had lunch there and service was great and the food was very good.

Super wait staff. The food was delicious esp the clam chowder and fish. Mid to low prices except the cocktails. A little pricey. Check before you order.
Lots of choices, all great!

It's hard to get good seafood in the mountains for a reasonable price, but you can at Maggie's Galley. This restaurant has been relocated for several years in a very "out of the way" location but it still attracts people from all around. My wife and I ate there on a Tuesday night while attending a conference in the area. It was packed and we had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. This restaurant is nothing fancy at all. It just has good seafood at a reasonable price that people keep coming back for. The menu is varied but has mainly seafood on it. I had a combo platter with shrimp and oysters. They were lightly breaded and very good. Service was excellent. If you can find the location, you have found a good seafood restaurant.
