Description: This award winning community club is located in the heart of the Barossa Valley in Tanunda. Established on the existing site in 1891,it welcomes visitors every day with genuine country hospitality. Open for lunch and dinner daily, it offers all your pub-style favourites together with daily Chef specials offering restaurant-quality meals using fresh local ingredients. Dine in the regionally themed Dining Room that features a panoramic wall-sized Barossa landscape photograph. The extensive menu features South Australian seafood and the best premium steaks north of Adelaide. Also popular for schnitzels, burgers and kid-friendly meals with a childrens play room. Fantastic local wine list (as you would expect in the Barossa) including many iconic reds available by the glass. Wonderful ambience with friendly staff. As a community venue the atmosphere is casual and meals are ordered at the bar, so sit back, relax and enjoy. Bookings recommended, so suggest you phone ahead where possible to avoid disappointment.

We were suprised how hard it was to find a restaurant in Tanunda - but we were happy we chose the Clubhouse when we did eat out. A busy country bistro with a small childrens room in one corner, so you don't need to eat and run if your there with young kids.

We were lucky to get a table on the Sat night, it was really busy. Fortunately this didnt take away from our experience of friendly, helpful service and lovely food - at a good price!

Booked the last table of four for Sat night. Arrived at 7.0pm and the place was well packed. Big 30th birthday bash. The first thing you notice...carpeted floor; heavily accoustic ceiling - so - hardly any noise. What a change from the chrome and glass trendoid places nowadays.
Staff were terrific. Have a great range of really good wine (as you would expect). Lashed out on a good bottle - Glaetzer Shiraz @ $50 a bottle was Mother's milk.
Food is standard Bistro fare (a bit above your normal pub grub). Two roast; fish and steak. My Scotch fillet was cooked to perfection. The others also suitably impressed.
We had a few laughs, a few nice glasses of the grape and some very good food.
