A pleasant , airy and fresh environment matched with a tasty , fresh & diverse menu featuring local seafood including prawns, cuttlefish and fish . The owners are very pleasant and friendly whilst respecting your dining experience. Fully licensed with a generous selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic.

This restaurant was closed for approx. 18 months and was looking forward to eating at the newly opened venue with new owners. Was very disappointed by the meals served, the Asian meal was average (when asked what type of sauce was being offered, was advised it was Asian ??? ... take your pick). My husband's steak was very tough and the vegetables were very mushy. Sauce served with the steak was also tasteless. On a positive note, the décor is ambiant an the garlic bread delicious. We went on a Saturday night and it was just a husband and wife serving and cooking so service and meals were slow. I believe that the restaurant has improved and hope so, as I would like to see local venues succeed.

I am not shure how to take this review because of a few factors. The steak we have changed 3 times looking for the best product. We have had 1 complaint about tough steak, so we made another and he loved it. Telling me at the time helps! The sauce on the steak is Jus (beef reduction) and not artificial packet gravy. We have not had a complaint ever for it, in fact many customers say it is the best steak they have had in a long time and generally people complement about our vegetables being coocked just right but things do happen. Just about every chinese restaurant or take away uses lee kum kee sauces that are loaded with msg and other rubbish. We base our sauces on Ayam oyster sauce.

A very nice meal with excellent service friendly staff. The tiramisu was fantastic as was the vegan cheesecake. They will have a licence soon to serve alcohol. All round a great experience.

Dined here recently, found the menu very interesting and our meal selections were delightful. The couple who run the place were very friendly, and the chef made a point on checking how our meals were. Disappointed they weren't licensed, but apparently that is happening soon as the red take is sorted. Looking forward to returning soon.

We had morning tea here on the way to Rainbow Beach. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a nicely decorated and trendy restaurant in Tin Can Bay as we hadn't been there for a few years. The staff were very friendly and the chef recommended the mango cheesecake which my husband said was incredible....very light and fluffy and clearly homemade. The fruit scones were yummy too.
