Stayed one night upstairs in unit 8. As per other veviews the unit was spotlessly clean. The 1 bedroom unit was very spacious, a small family would be very comfortable for an extended stay. Beds we comfortable, the unit was fully self contained with a laundry in the huge bathroom. All the furniture, kitchen etc were in immaculate condition. Convenient location within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and Killer Whale Museum. Great ocean views we a bonus. Great value for money.

With its well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, and large rooms, this is a place we could be comfortable in for a longer visit than our two nights. Great view from the second floor balcony. Any reservations about our stay were due to the town, which didn't seem set up for visitors except for minimal eating options.

We got a one bedroom suite. Huge rooms, comfy, although a bit dated. Huge bathroom had a Jacuzzi tub and a washer and dryer. The kitchen had a microwave, stovetop burners, and a full size fridge. Nice location several blocks away from Princes Highway (so it's quiet), but still convenient -- a block away from the famed Eden Killer Whale Museum.
Tons of light switches on individual controls, tons of power outlets to charge your electronics. Lots of mirrors in the bathroom and bedroom.
Some minuses: The shower is a bit small. The heater was a bit hard to work. There was a strong smell of cleaning chemicals we couldn't get rid of, even by opening all the windows.

Room tip: Get a suite!

Stayed in a motel room. The flat above was quite noisy, not partying but rather through just walking and turning on taps. It seems to have poor sound insulation. I think we could have done better. The room was clean but not my favourite stay on this trip.

The motel was wonderfully equipped and comfortable. It is located close to facilities, except they were all closed. Only place to get a feed on a Monday evening was the Fishermans Club. Crazy, given there are several restaurants in town. A lot of history and some great scenery, but needs the town to be alive.
But getting back to Heritage House, it was great accomodation with a filtered outlook to the bay. Saw some playful whales from the balcony.
