Just back from a fantastic 8 days in Rosamar Gardens Resort. Went with 5 kids aged from 8 to 13 & 3 adults who had a fantastic time. Was warmly greeted by Magda at reception who was very helpful. Excellent entertainment from Mr Omar & Latichia. Loads of activities to do during the day & night for both adults & kids. Food was excellent & a great choice to choose from.
Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in apartments which were cleaned everyday with fresh towels each day.

Thank you Rosamar Gardens Resort

We have just returned from a 7 day holiday here. On the positive side, most staff were friendly and helpful, kids loved the pools and slides and the hotel was a short walk to the beach. We also didn’t find any issues with being served at the bar upstairs or by the pool bar. We were all inclusive. However, for the money paid, we didn’t enjoy this holiday as much as we should have done. Firstly after arriving quite late and having to drag our suitcases up the road to the hotel as the promised truck to take them up never arrived, we were given our bands and told to go to the restaurant to eat. The middle aged lady on the door showed us to a table by the door, we were all parched after a long transfer, I politely asked this lady where we could get a drink? To which she exploded shouting at me in the busy restaurant in Spanish, then translated to “one moment, you sit down, he bring the drinks trolley!!” To which I said “well how on earth was I supposed to know that?!” She just turned her back and walked off! Great first impression!! Food was awful that first night, and didn’t get any better all week. One night my daughter cut into her chicken and it was raw!! So after paying for all inclusive we ended up eating out for at least one meal per day. We then went up to our room which was an apartment and seemed fine, clean and enough room for the four of us. However we had just settled down and a dog started barking and didn’t stop all night. Early next morning after broken sleep we were woken by a cockerel and then by hundreds of bottles being emptied into a recycling truck! Asked for another room, was told none available! On the second night my husband woke up with 30 mosquito bites all over him. The room was stifling hot and the air conditioning was worse than useless. It was certainly not a relaxing holiday, however we were determined to make the best of it and not be too negative in front of the children as they had so looked forward to going. Hated going down to the restaurant, that same women on the door most days with the same sour face, on two days she was replaced by a blonde lady who was so different, friendly and welcoming, said hello to the kids, made such a difference. And the drinks trolley? What a joke, young man on that needs to brush up on his customer skills also, looks at you like you are something he stepped in and huffs and puffs if you dare ask for a drink he has to walk to the fridge for. Slams your drinks in the table with a grunt! You feel like you are asking for something you shouldn’t when you would like a second drink!
Any way, the children enjoyed themselves due to the pools, slides and endless ice cream! As for us adults? We will certainly not be rushing back to the Rosemar garden hotel!!

Have just returned from a 7 day break here with 6 adults and 7 children, and for the price paid was very disappointed to say the least!!! Had booked last November, and requested a pool view, which we did not get, my daughter, travelling with three children was squeezed into a room for four persons, and stepping onto beds was the only was to move around, we did complain, but were told that there were no other rooms available. The staff generally ignored us when we were trying to get served in the bars, and Jose took the buiscuit for ignoring me completely for nearly 10 minutes on one occasion. The food was bland, tasteless and repetative, which meant that having paid for all inclusive we had to go out most nights to find something edible. The only saving grace was that the kids enjoyed the slides, but we will certainly not be returning any time soon..

We've just returned from the Rosamar Garden Resort, we spent 10 days here as a family of 4 (children aged 5y and 2y). We were expecting a 4* family resort and having stayed at a very nice 4* the previous year we were very disappointed, if marked as a 3* it would have been more or less right. Here's my review:-

Rating:- I think the star rating is based on their group of Rosamar Hotels and not each hotel.
Rooms:- basic, reasonable clean if you don't look too far, beds were 2 singles together and 2 single sofa pullouts together of which the pull outs were only ideal for children, too uncomfortable. Mini fridge on wheels, and a single chair which had to go on the balcony as the room was too small with 4 beds! Safe was extra at €45 for 10 nights. Air Con was the best bit, worked well.

Hotel:- Foyer/Bar/Reception/Entertainment area all kind of open planned, didn't work, too noisy at times. Receptionist very helpful and professional, kept clean. Also a buggy park which brought down the appearance.

Lifts/Assessebility:- lifts took forever, mainly because too many lazy people who could take the stairs took the lifts, meaning those with young children/less able had to wait ages! Loads of steps down to pool and restaurant so not ideal, however by the end of the holiday I noticed you could access pool area by lift then ramp via the apartment block, not notified of this. Also a lift at other end of building takes you to restaurant, but again not informed of this. People carrying buggys and young infants down step tiles stairs which could have been avoided if informed at Check-in.

Restaurant:- Breakfast was good, same choice daily but plenty to choose from, free seating choice, breakfast area was a bit disorganised as crockery wasn't appropriate for area of food choice, i.e. Cereal bowls nowhere near cereal but side plates were! Tea and coffee vend far from main food area but no milk jugs by the beverages. Overall though fine. Dinner:- you had to wait to be taken to a table, I found being a family we were always taken to the back of restaurant or conservatory area, which when getting food with 2 and 5 year olds makes for many long trips, and then the loos being upstairs by reception make it even longer when your young children need a visit during meal times. Dinner was okay, plenty of choice but very repetitive, so okay for a week but being there 10 nights we ate out twice in the evening. Drinks are served on a trolley at your table, take cash as you pay for those st the table. If you don't finish your wine you can't take the bottle away, they tag it for you to have the next meal time. NO food to be remove from restaurant, I felt a bit 'watched' if I wanted to sneak a cookie or banana out for my children to eat later. Overall restaurant felt canteen like and too busy around servarys

Pool Area:- BEST BIT for us! If you don't like swimming and busy pool areas then this isn't the hotel for you. The flumes were fun, a 5x15 meter pool for water sports or just jumping around, a pool with a good pirate ship and slides, and main pool with beach affect which is great all round. Water cold but weather was amazing so it didn't matter. Life Guards present on flumes and slides, but only one glancing over main pool, when busy I think there's room for another pair of eyes. NO Inflatables, do not take any unless they are a swimming aid. I personally think it's good you can't have them in the pool due to volume of users. The lifeguard will ask you to remove any inflatables which are not permitted.

Entertainment:- we took in the Magic Show which was good, but ended early due to a heavy shower. We also saw a children's show of a Disney Characters which was great, good costumes and performing by staff.

Staff:- overall happy with staff service and manners, we didn't experience any issues here.

One thing to be aware of, the corridors can become noisy up until midnight, if noise is an issue you should report as they will sort it. Mainly parents not watching their children and allowing them to treat corridors like a play ground. If you want to sleep before midnight take ear plugs! It's quite until about 8/8:30am.

Sun Beds:- the poolside is locked until 9am, small number of people queue to reserve loungers at this time, unfortunately some took restaurant emergency exit to reserve theirs before 9am! It's sad to see a grown man run to reserve a subbed ahead of 10 people queuing when there are plenty of the bl00dy things!

Location:- Good location, 5 mins walk to sea front, at the "right end" of town, nicer restaurants and est, the other end is more 18-30's crowd and too busy and grubby. Beach is big but not sandcastle material, more fine gravel mixed with a bit of sand, it drops quickly to the sea.

Spa:- there is an in door pool and large jacuzzi, I believe a gym too. However the treatments Spa isn't actually at this hotel, you have to visit the Rosamar Spa to book treatments. I took in a 25m massage which was pleasant. €44 euros.

My wife, 2 sons and I went to Rosamar Garden Resort for a 7 day summer break at the end of July. Overall the experience was excellent.
The pools are great and the layout of the "water area" was fantastic. The water slides were great fun for all ages, and the main pool has a very gradual gradient to the deep end so there was lots of area for my younger son to stand up in the pool.
We didn't really do any of the other kids activities available in the day - because my boys were more than happy playing in the pool or in the arcades, but we did see the hotel staff rounding up the kids twice a day to go off to play football and table tennis etc etc.
As I said, there were four of us so I booked a suit rather than a room to give us a bit more space. The rooms were clean, tidy and most importantly cool (the temp was up to 34 degrees outside). You have the option to have the cleaners in everyday if required to make the beds and mop the floors.
We booked all inclusive and made full use of the two bars serving drinks and snacks etc. We never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a drink. The only real rushes at the bar were when something ended - like the pool shutting or evening entertainment.
The food was in the main good - however did become a bit "samey", But I have always found this with buffet style. Saying that - it was always hot and a good variety (fish, meat, pasta, vegetables, fruit, cold meats etc + themed food nights)
overall I was impressed with the staff, reception staff and bar tenders were exceptional given how busy they were. Lifeguards were great - the pool bar staff looked a bit browbeaten but to be honest some of the guests were pretty rude and demanding so it must be hard to always have a smile in that environment!
The evening entertainment was good for the kids, but we spent most evenings down at the beach.
If I was to have one major criticism it would be that this shouldn't be billed as 4*, its not the same standard as 4* in the UK, but to be honest having travelled a bit I was expecting this.
To conclude we had a great holiday, 7 days was long enough for things to not get boring for the kids and enabled mum and dad to relax!. I would recommend seeing the fireworks down at Lloret beach and a trip to the camp nou (about 90 mins away).
We done to the hotel team.

Room Tip: Pool side rooms are quieter at night and the pool doesn't open till 8am.
