The Good: The location of the B&B is excellent. It is located in an old, beautiful palazzo right near the entrance of on the main pedestrian only street in Trapani and it has been updated nicely. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was the one with the sea view, which was below the main part of the B&B (located on the second floor) so it was easy to get there from locked set of stairs in the atrium. The room was very large, modern, clean, and very quiet even though it was located just above two popular restaurants. There are many options for food and drinks nearby and you can walk anywhere in Trapani from the B&B. There is a large free parking lot about a 5 minute walk away for those who drive and there were many spots available even in late June.

The Bad: The room is half a floor up from the ground floor and directly over a restaurant so I didn't open the window due to cigarette smoke, noise, and the smell of fish from the restaurant. The room layout is awkward. There are two sides from the entrance, on the left is a large room with the bed and the one set of windows, and on the right up a set of stairs is another narrow wing that has a small kitchen and the bathroom at the other end. Breakfast was not included with the price of the room.

This was a great find. Great room with a little kitchenette which included a refrigerator, dishes and silver. No breakfast, but perfect location. The room was very large and had international news channels! The host was very helpful and friendly!

Room Tip: This hotel has an elevator which is great for luggage

Although difficult for us to find and not sure how to get into building (once we found it, had to call to figure how to get into the building) , it was an outstanding suite. Very spacious and clean, kitchen... Giovanni was wonderful and very helpful & friendly. It was located in the city-center square across from lungamare. No parking on site, but available parking lot 1 block away.

We stayed here with our teenagers. The host was very nice and it was a little daunting driving a hire car thru Trapani. Then we had to park the car so we could meet our host. The parking was then at a local council car park where you had to pay €2 per day for them to look after it...that was fine - it's the Sicilian way!! The Central Gallery Rooms were 2 bedroom one bathroom. It was just a walk down the stairs and you were right in the Centre of the Piazza - restaurants & shops!! Great accommodation in a great location!! Very clean!!

This hotel was in a really good location on the very main street. But, I hate to say this as the room was nice and brand new, I was underwhelmed. It is colonial style building, and even though the building faces the sea, the rooms had no windows as you are in the courtyard, so you couldn't open windows, or get any light in. Also, you had to go through about 4 doors to get to the room, and we only had one key to share, so that was very inconvenient. I also thought it was a bit expensive for Trapani, but overall, a very nice new room with nicest shower we had the whole time in Italy.
