We were shown many of the beautiful homes, churches and other buildings in New Bern and in doing do, got to hear good stories that told about the unique history of New Bern. It is such a pretty town and seeing from a trolley, with guide explaining things was a nice way to see it.

I highly recommend New Bern's (air conditioned) trolley tour. We enjoyed a 90-minute tour (in an air conditioned trolley)that brings New Bern's unique character and three centuries of history to life. The highly knowledgeable guide shared fascinating details of the former NC royal capital, residential characters, historic milestones and period homes. Currently, tours depart at 11AM and 2PM.(Cost: adults-$16.50/youth(13-18)-$9/12 & under-free)

What a great way to spend 1.5 hours in New Bern! Interesting stories about historical figures and architecture in this beautiful town. This area has such a rich past with notable historical figures that people of all ages are certain to be entertained. Stopping at the cemetery was a notable highlight. The trolly itself was comfortable, charming and clean. The driver was safe and strategic in his stopping points. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging with the members of the tour. This is a highlight for anyone's trip to New Bern!
