We rented despite a little concern about the comment below about problems with a toilet, the hot tub and a shower curtain. If you're looking into this one, you should know that we experienced none of these problems. The place is accurately described by Outer Banks Blue (the realty company) and we thought it was well-maintained even as of our late-in-the season rental week. The bathrooms and hot tub were actually immaculate. A little dust under/behind dressers and one old Cheez It on an upper deck is the worst I can say and I hesitate to even say that considering the care the owners took to make the place an enjoyable and relaxing vacation spot. We felt right at home. We had all the conveniences of home, plentiful space and a location in the center of it all. A good value. We also loved the "Pluggers" theme--it's a sweet and endearing comic strip the owners obviously have a fondness for.
