I looked at other reviews and thought we’d try it. First, when you pull in, while in your car, you’re temperature is checked. Going inside the casino, you are checked for mask and everyone inside had a mask. We also wore gloves like many others for extra protection. The machines were socially distanced, every 2 machines were disabled. Great protection and great time. It’s been a long time since we went to a casino and welcomed this. Thank you all for implementing such good safety protocols.

Was lied to from the second I got there about them being at full occupancy. Front desk individual deserves a raise but other than that entire experience was awful. Gambled thousands of dollars and was told I could not get a late check out. Would never recommend this establishment to family or friends!

Having stayed at River Valley Harrah's many tines, The Staff and leadership continue to impress and give patrons a friendly visit. We stayed Halloween Night 31st , from the Desk Check in process - to the table dealers and the Casino Cage people especially Amanda and Pam . Friendly and efficient. Dinner at the Landings was as always great/ the table service/ food preparation on time. not Rushed . Service done with Your Safety in mind.. Masks/ Gloves/ spaced tables. we had the Burger and Chicken Parmesan.. The added high light was the Pumpkin Carving- Contest that the Employees entered and were they superb . The effort /detail was outstanding. This will continue to be our place to stay and gamble and have dinner//// already booked for Thanksgiving and added dates .

Room tip: Great Staff Landings the bets around / food /service / Manager excellent

We did not have a good experience The Landing Cafe even though it was highly recommended by my Casino Host.
We arrived at 5:02 pm...they opened at 5:00 pm. We had to wait to be seated for 15 minutes. The hostess mentioned they were not really ready and had only 3 waitresses...she said they did not to overwhelm them. OK.....LOL it's not like there were lines out the door.....and this restaurant is only open on select evenings. With many empty tables we were seated by the kitchen door. If you order a glass of wine it is a very short pour (14.00 per glass). We only ordered burgers and waited another 30 minutes. The lettuce on mine was black and moldy.....I handed it back to the waitress on my side plate. She apologized and took it back to the kitchen. I was not offered another burger and was charged for it....VERY strange. Later on, I think it was a manager of sorts, came over to see if we needed anything.
All in all it was a bad experience and will not be back to this restaurant.

Took a trip through the mountains leaf peeping and stayed 2 nights at Valley River. Masks were required and the casino is currently non-smoking which we appreciated. Hotel and casino were super clean. Staff was friendly. We were unsure about taking the trip but glad we did!!
