We were greeted right away by our server Holly. She highlighted the specials and took our order. The kitchen was quick in preparing our meals and we were served soon after. The fish was excellent as well as the steak. The portions were large and the atmosphere was friendly. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Last night while visiting Highlands, NC we took the whole family to Bridge At Mill Creek. We were told we didn’t need reservations yet when we arrived was seated outside, no problem, nice setting. The waitress, Lucy Crow, was a complete disappointment, apparently because we were not locals she thought she could treat us as second class. First, asked if she could turn on the heater which was right next to us. Lucy said “No the ladies would not like that” (the ladies sitting at the next table) then walked away. Before we ordered dinner we asked for a desert menu, response was we have as many as ten different ones, once again walked away without any detail. Some times it’s good to know what deserts are so one can plan how to order dinner. Ordered dinner & drinks, wine to go with steak showed up (white, wrong one) soda was a no show. One positive Lucy got the kids food quickly. Dinner arrived . . . Brussel sprouts fabulous, Tuna was perfect, wedge salads a meal in themselves . . . Shrimp grits worst we have ever had - grits really gritty (not what they are supposed to be) - the toast on the side was burnt (presented upside down so initially did mot see toast was burnt). Once we spoke to manager about the heater she quickly got that fixed for us - Thank you!!! However Miss Lucy had to complain to the ladies sitting at next table - they in turn were rude to us. The icing on the cake was we got charged a 20% tip on top of our tab without telling us although the menu specified a 15% gratuity. Service was the worst we’re have collectively ever done. Bridge on Mill Creek is definitely for locals only!!

We had lunch here recently. We chose it because we had 2 dogs with us - we were seated on the patio - and our lunch was great. The vibe is upscale casual. Excellent bar and wine list - really nice menu with a great variety of selections. Our waitperson was great. The neighborhood is great for window shopping or real shopping.

Gorgeous setting outside. Beautiful restful back area just for relaxing after a great meal. Very good attentive service. The trout with buttered shallots was stellar ! Couscous side perfect!
Chocolate pie was really more like a torte . Very fudgy and rich. Delicious but not a pie with flaky crust. Beverages like tea are pricey. Be sure and check before you order.
Otherwise fantastic experience!

I’m always impressed with the decor of this restaurant, really clean and upscale. We visited for lunch today. Ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer to start. It was pretty tasty but they didn’t remove all the stems and also left the sprouts too large. We shared the fried chicken sandwich. It was very good but could have used some sort of sauce. Maybe garlic aioli or a spicy mustard. All they had was Mayo or yellow mustard. It’s almost like the Bridge is almost there, but just can’t knock it out if the park. All in all, it was pretty good.
