Was glad to find a place that wasn't crammed out the door during the July Franklin Gem & Rock Shows; can only assume it's because we were there a bit later for lunch and more people just don't know about it.

Staff were comfortably friendly, food was comfortably priced and very good, service was quick, and the tea is brewed, not some plastic-tasting concentrate bilge. Atmosphere is a little "down homeish" kitschy, but the food and staff's great attitude more than make up for it. The menu is varied enough to decently juggle some dietary concerns or preferences. No problem parking, and didn't have to go too far off the highway between shows to find it. Got it marked for a revisit at the next rock show ;0)

Got the hamburger and fries and it was really good! Don't forget that you have to pay in cash! Nice little hole in the wall.

We loved the restaurant, the food, and the people. Prices were great, too. Restaurant is pretty small, though, so it definitely seems like coming during a mealtime would be a bad idea. Will definitely come back.

Arrived at 7:30pm, they close at 8pm. One person took our drink order, another waiter came up and asked us for drink order again. I got the special Turkey, dressing and mashed pot, with green beans. Turkey was shredded pieces, pototes cold, dressing was mush, and the color of the gravy was one I have never seen. Neon Yellow, waiter said they make it homemade.......Sorry, but you can not get that color making it homemade. Husband got a Ruben, with fries and gravy on the side. Gravy looked like it was turning into jell, Ruben was greasy and not that full. Slacking on the meat, don't think it was on Rye either.Oh, The Sweet Tea, taste like pure surgar. Some tea flavor would have been nice....lol Lights had cobwebs hanging, trash on the floor, cook wearing flip flops. They started braking down while we were still eating, felt rushed. If your looking for cheap eats, this is the place for you.
