We went to Elizabeth City waterfront during the end of August - which might be the reason not many people were there. The downtown market had a few fruit and vegetable vendors and some garden accessories and craft vendors, but nothing much that was unique to the city or to the farmer's market. Some people said the vendors change weekly, so it could have been just the week we went which was so dull. The market is very near to the waterfront so it is great for a lazy evening stroll with benches to sit and shades from the trees to picnic by.
- Go early to get the fresh fruits and vegetables
- If you are searching for unique and interesting stuff to collect, this is not the place to go for.

Peaceful place to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the water and people watch. Calming effect. Nice to take photos and watch the birds come and go.

Each week there is the core farmers that provide the freshest vegetables, meats, sauces and cheese. In addition are crafters who show a variety of different handmade items. Non profits sometime take space and they are always happy to share what is going on in Elizabeth City. The SPCS is often a visible presence it's a great way to meet a new fury friend. There is always food from feeds and breakfast sandwiches to kettle corn or homemade ice cream. You just never know who is going to be there.

The backdrop is the waterfront of Elizabeth City and it's a lovely place to spend some time on a Saturday morning. From 9-2pm weather permitting

We liked Cypress Creek Grill. Bobby the owner is hands on and walks around greeting guests and making sure everything is as expected. Our server had just moved to the area and was excellent. Great smile and attitude!!! Very accommodating. Prices were great too and so was the food and selection.

While visiting Serenity Studio Arts on Main Street one Saturday morning, the owner encouraged us to visit the Market. We took a stroll to the Waterfront to find an eclectic blend of fresh fruit, crafts, and even bunnies for sale. My three young daughters enjoyed the breeze of the water and the friendliness of the locals.
