We chose OBX seafood boil on a friend's recommendation for my daughter's welcome dinner and SO happy we did! Matt, Ace and Biz served our group of 60+ and they were awesome! Guests are still raving about the food! We added crab legs and lobster tails to the basic boil, FANTASTIC! Matt was great to work with, providing suggestions and going above and beyond to make sure one of our little guys had his "own" boil due to an allergy. They cooked, served, cleaned up and packaged leftovers, all with big smiles. As Matt promised, leftover shrimp was great in bloody marys too! We will definitely hook up with them again on our next trip to OBX! Thank you for making their welcome dinner so special!

An excellent low country boil. Simple to prepare and fun to eat. Matt sends you home with a prepared pot and all you need to do is follow the easy instructions. We've enjoyed his pots three times now. The only issue we ever had (and he cautions you about it) is that in some rental properties with flat-top electric stoves it is difficult to get the pots to the full rolling boil required. We wound up using a BBQ on that trip.
A few reviewers seemed to not realize that this is not a traditional restaurant. There is no "dine-in" option; it's "to-go" or they will bring it to you and cook it for you at your home. We've had the standard shrimp boil and also added mussels, clams, and crabs. It's all excellent. On our last pot we used a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc rather than water and tossed in the butter Matt gave us as well and it added a whole new dimension to the pot. Try it, but be sure to have plenty of bread on hand to mop up all that goodness!

Matt served us now three years in a row. The food is excellent- it’s a highlight of the trip for All - it’s delicious and enjoyed by the entire family and guests - he easily handled 25 of us. Cooked cleaned and Matt himself is an exciting entrepreneur. Congrats in your success it’s based on your performance and we will be back next year.

The food was good but you cook it yourself, you pick it up yourself and you clean up after yourself...Its more like an overpriced grocery store in a can, which rusts if left outside. Be careful when purchasing too 20 dollars turns into 100 real quick. Great concept but be wary.

We booked a Boil for 5 couples at our rental in Pine Island and it was a great start to our stay there. It had rained all day but they set up in the carport to cook. They arrived precisely on time, set the table, and cooked while most relaxed and the rest of us watched. Couldn't have been more personable and the food was great! It really set a tone for our stay, a must in the future.
