This cozy restaurant is worth finding and offers Indian and Pakistani food with love and attention to taste. I had the lunch special -mixed the vegetarian (spinach with potato) with the non-vegetarian (tikki masala)-served with a plate of salad and basmati rice, appetizer, rice pudding) - very tasty! Others ordered chicken korma (big chunks of chicken breast), Malai chicken tikka (mild for my Norwegian husband’s taste), saag paneer to share (a great idea BTW), Malai kofta, Salt lassi and mango lassi. (Nothing wrong with our appetites, sigh). The owner was gracious and so helpful with suggestions about what tasted good with what. They have a scratch kitchen and relatively short opening hours, so pay attention to that. We had a most enjoyable meal- and this with a 4 and 7 year old who devoured the rice and naan. Thank you to the proprietors!

We ordered the nihadi, beef biryani and goat karhi. Nihari was strange watery and no taste what so ever the only thing good came out was just the naan. I am really sorry for my stomach and feel horrible for my business troops.

I had passed this restaurant numerous times and finally stopped in for a Saturday lunch. It was really good. I had the Chicken Bihari Kabab Wrap. It had well-seasoned chunks of chicken as well as sauteed onion and cucumber among other veggies. There was a mildly spicy sauce on it that gave it a little kick. For $8, it is a very good value!

The servers were unfailingly helpful and friendly. The food and service were great and when one of the servers told me that you can bring in your own beer and wine with no corkage fee, I was completely won over!

I will be back! Soon!

We visited Kababish Cafe as part of the Cary Walking Food Tour. The highlight of our tasting was their Onion Pakora. We don't have a lot of experience with Indian food, but we found the flavor profile of these onion pakoras to very unique and tasty. Their menu was simply full of tempting dishes at reasonable prices. We will have to return to have a full meal there on our next visit!
