Wow! My wife and I stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary, and really enjoyed the Inn, and the Outer Banks. We had dinner on our deck the night we arrived, with champagne and a personal waiter. The rooms and grounds are wonderfully decorated, and the staff were fantastic. Breakfasts were fabulous, and the sunsets were breathtaking.
Only issue might be that it can be a bit noisy, as some of the doors to the rooms (at least our door) are not as insulated as it could have been.
We DEFINITELY will be back for another visit the next time we are in the Outer Banks ---which can't happen soon enough!

We booked this hotel because of the great reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly, gave us a tour of the facilities and personally walked us to our room. The room was just as described, very clean. They offer a great selection of movies and have a very cool movie theater for viewing. The stay included a complimentary breakfast every morning, not your usual continental breakfast. The grounds were beautifully maintained. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I have been to the outer banks many times and this little gem is top notch!! My wife and I spent the weekend at the inn for our 10th anniversary. It was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The food in the restaurant was delicious and the bartender was top notch. We had a beautiful panoramic view from our room. The sunsets were breathtaking. We will be heading back again in the fall. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the outer banks. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I visited The Inn on Pamlico Sound during the midseason. When we arrived, we were given a tour of the property and informed about all of the items available for our use. Bikes, kayaks, movies, games, and more! There were even complimentary baked goods available at 3:00, and they were delicious!

Breakfast is included in the price of the room and it is spectacular! You can have fruit, granola, bread, muffins, scones, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage and biscuits, delicious juice, and amazing coffee. You will never leave breakfast dissatisfied.

We stayed in the Honeysuckle, the room above the restaurant. While it was loud for several hours each night, it always quieted down by bedtime. The only suggestion we could make to Steve is to invest in something to prevent the restaurant doors from slamming.

Every member of the staff was extremely helpful and knew an answer to our questions. Even the teenage daughter of a staff member seemed interested in our satisfaction with our stay.

We highly recommend The Inn on Pamlico Sound for anyone who enjoys the personal touches of a small boutique hotel. We will be back!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn. What a wonderful place. The staff is friendly and helpful. We arrived well after midnight and they had no problem leaving us a late check in package with plenty of details about our room and the Inn and what we needed to do the next day. We were welcomed to a clean room and a comfy bed. The next day we took up many of the adventures that the Inn provides for you. We rode kayaks on the sound and took a bicycle trip down to the lighthouse. Guess how much that cost us? NOTHING! Breakfast each day was so good, the cinnamon flavored pancakes were delicious. The coffee each morning was perfect and so tasty. Perfect way to get each day started. This is a great getaway spot with plenty of extras. Cookies, drinks, coffee, and so much more. Heck, even "renting" movies is included and you can watch them in the convenience of your room. We can't recommend this gem enough. Go ahead and book it, you won't be sorry.
