My Fiancé and I were seeking a beautiful wedding venue. After reading the reviews, we decided to take a spin out to see it. Approaching the House, we saw no signs deterring the public visitation and drove up the sweeping lawn. It is as described - a beautiful Georgian example of a Manor House. I excitedly jumped out of the car to take a look around the grounds to get a feel for it. What we didn't expect was to be shouted at from an upper window as to explain "what we thought we were doing!" We said we were having a walk around and were told rudely this is a private property and to effectively shove off. As a property and business that boasts its "warmth" and "character" both on its website and TripAdvisor, that might need some addressing after shouting at two potential clients who are most definitely not interested in the shabby and poorly run excuse of an estate.
