Absolutely beautiful if you get a spot on Lake Ontario. They had free showered that had great water pressure, and a lot of amenities.

By far, the best State Park we've ever stayed in! Beautiful, Large spots, views of Lake Ontario, shuttle nearby to all attractions. The only thing better would be 50 amp, full hookups!

We camped here this weekend.

First the positives:
Bathrooms nice and clean
Playgrounds
Camp store well stocked

Negatives:
Spacing of the sites makes the hookup for the electric and therefore the parking for your unit literally 6 feet from your neighbors fire pit. Way too close! ZERO privacy. Sites are advertised as 50x50 but are really about 30 feet of flat surface before a large drop off. Also our site #5 was listed as full shade. There is only partial shade if anything.

The numbering of the first odd numbered sites is confusing. Arrows point to the wrong sites.

Traffic is moving all night long. Not much patrolling of park staff and noisy cars and new campers coming and going all night.

We took the family to Four Mile Creek State Park to camp and have easy access to Niagara Falls State Park over Labor Day weekend.

We stayed on one of the 'dry' loops from which we could (barely) see Lake Ontario. The park is clean and well kept. It was very crowded but still reasonable. There are a number of bathrooms and multiple playgrounds for the kids. There are a few hiking trails and some historical and natural information down by the road to the lake.

The sunsets. Wow! Go down to the lake and watch it. Truely amazing. Another nice surprise is seeing Toronto, ON right across the lake during day or night. You also can see freighters making their way to the Welland Canal.

My only complaint is that the sink where they let you wash dishes for our loop never gave hot water. Crowd respected quiet hours and there were lots of kids for mine to play with.

Niagara Falls is only 15 minutes away and there are nice views on the Robert Moses Parkway in between.

I highly recommend this place and would like to go back for longer than a weekend.

Just got done staying here for a week while we took our 4 kids (ages 6-14) to see the falls and other local sights. What an outstanding park and campground! The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were always clean, and the showers were clean and had hot water as long as you wanted! We stayed at sight #83, which is along the lake. It was a short distance to the bathrooms and playground. The playground was nice and big and was next to a large grassy area. Some of the camp sights are a little close together but you can find some pretty decent ones. Like I said, ours was along the lake, and the sunsets were a-maz-ing! It was literally a half hour show that people would all gather for near the shore and watch. The proximity of the park to many of the nearby sites is also a bonus. We would absolutely stay here again.
