We have dined at Xaviers many times and have never been disappointed. On this visit the food was outstanding as always, however the service was disappointing. At one point after waiting for 15 minutes I had to leave the table to find a server. That should never happen at a restaurant of this caliber. However the staff was well trained, courteous and once at the table responsive. But there was too few servers moving too slowly and service suffered!
Also, the restaurant is showing wear and tear, the chairs are worn, the curtain bottoms are black from dirt and there is water stains and peeling paint on the ceiling.
Peter, to uphold your reputation these issues must be corrected!
