As people who have long since loved eating tapas around the world we looked forward to trying the degustation menu here as a thank you meal for friends who live not far away. We weren't disappointed. Amongst four of us the only disagreement was which were our favourite dishes. For me the scallops with chorizo, the wild mushrooms with the sherry cream sauce, and the goats cheese with orange blossom honey hit the spot. The wine pairings were very good. Not all to everyone's taste but we had no trouble finishing them as there was always at least one of us who liked them so it became a truly sharing experience! none of that is a criticism of the quality or choices of the wines, it's simply a question of different people liking different things and wouldn't it be a boring world if we all only liked the same things!
