We stayed for one night, in a cabin, and found it acceptable for that purpose. Nice setting and view everything needed was available.

We like quiet and were happy on that score, though the site was fairly busy.

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday at the Lighthouse Caravan Park. It is located out of town at the tip of the peninsular which meant it was in a quiet location halfway between Exmouth Town Centre and Torquoise Bay.
We stayed in Bungalow 7 which still had a lovely side view of the ocean. The cabin was basic but clean and had everything we needed. There was a clean kitchen, on one end had a bedroom which could be closed off and the other end had 2 single beds with a partial wall partition (which did make it hard to get the kids to sleep some nights). The bathroom was very clean no mould in the grout, FIY the water from the taps is Salt. The veranda at the the front of the Bungalow was enclosed and had a table and chairs and BBQ. The beds were comfortable and linen changed weekly.
To the people who complained about the bugs, it's a Caravan Park in the North West not a 5 star hotel. If you were wanting to go somewhere with no bugs around (and I am not saying there was any inside our bungalow) the Novotel may have been a better choice for you. I did bring an extra can of bug spray with us, but that said we had no problems at all with them and didn't have to use it.
The pool was lovely and cold, there was a large kids pool shaded by a sail. The facilities of the Caravan Park were fantastic, more than enough kitchen/toilet/laundry facilities provided around the park for everyone plus some. A suggestion to the owners adding a kids playground would be a good idea, as the beaches in walking distance are although beautiful and perfect for fishing and a swim are a little rocky. The Fuel at the park was cheaper than in town.
The customer service from the staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to help. Overall loved it so much we will be heading back for a month next year!

Room Tip: Choose either the Bungalows or an Ocean View Bungalow

We stayed in Chalet unit "L" from April 2-5, 2012. It was a good structure with a beautiful view of the ocean. When we entered the unit we immediately noticed that the unit was infested with pill bugs, a variety of spiders, cobwebs, and a live centipede over 10 cm. in length. The dishes in the kitchen contained bugs. On the deck the lounge chair was covered with bird droppings. The tile floor was covered with a layer of dirt and sand. We had to spend a few hours cleaning the unit before we could occupy it. Each morning we found a new group of pill bugs and spiders crawling around. We eventually realized that the underside of the leather recliners in the living area was infested with spiders. The comforters were dirty and contained bugs. Ceiling fans were covered with a thick coating of dirt and one was missing the blades. The remote control batteries were dead. To add insult to injury upon checkin, I was required to read and sign a lengthy document agreeing to be charged a $70 fine if I didn't leave the room clean. Needless to say we left the unit significantly cleaner than we found it. We have been travelling Western Australia for 6 weeks and this was by far the dirtiest place we have stayed.

This park is a fair way out of town, but is on the way to Torquoise Bay and all the surrounding beaches within the National Park. We stayed in a cabin on top of the hill.

Inside the cabin was basic though clean and was well equipped for self-catering. The balcony was a little dirty, but it had stunning views of the coastline, which made up for it. A highlight was the amount of wildlife - we saw lots of kangaroos and emus around the property not to mention the sea turtles at the beach across the road.

This is recommended for hose who would prefer to be near the beach than the centre of town.

We recently stayed in the lighthouse chalets with my family. They were not clean, spiders throughout the the roofs (the kids refused to sleep on top bunk), bird droppings over the verandah and the flyscreens were covered in holes. Very disappointing and we left the next morning for another van park. Major upgrade required.....
