to me

The Augusta Sheoak Villas were very private with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The chill of the evening made the fireplace a winner as it warmed the whole area and created a lovely atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped and included all the essential utensils and pans. There was a washing machine which we didn't use, but could be handy for travellers needing to wash. Two separate bedrooms and an upstairs loft made it possible to fit a family or a group inside comfortably. Easy to drive to scenic locations and tourist destinations in the area but too far to walk to town. There is no reception. When you arrive you are directed to a box with your name, chalet No and a key. Drop it off on the way out when leaving. They have a phone No for any issues and are most helpful if required. Don't let this put you off staying here.

Room Tip: All chalets well positioned with great views

We had 5 families stay here in 2 chalets. The biggest chalet was amazing, with a nice big area for the kids to play, as well a pool table for the adults. Well maintained and comfortable. The kids loved looking out all the animals in the paddocks early in the morning. Plenty of room for all the cars, and a boat, as well as the fishing gear. Each chalet is far enough apart to feel like you are there by yourself, but close enough to walk up to our mates chalet when we ran out of milk.

Highly recommended.

We had chalet number 1. Small, but fine for just the two of us. The wood fire makes it very cosy and warm, especially when it is pouring with rain outside. It was fantastic watching the rain come in over the ocean.
Lovely view out over the surrounding countryside with cows and roos.
Situated only ten minutes from the town so everything was very convenient, but far enough out to be peaceful.

The chalets are in a great location overlooking farmland and bush. Whilst the chalets are a little dated it is actually quite fitting - they are very well maintained and very clean.
We arrived to a glowing wood fire that warmed the whole place.
Location is only 3 km from the main street as is easy to find. Plenty of room and very private as there are only 5 chalets. The rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen and lounge are large with plenty of good quality seating.
We were lucky to have cloudless skies and the view of the night sky was fabulous with all the lights off.
The free WiFi was very fast and we had no trouble streaming a movie on Netflix.
Would happily stay again.

Excellent location, short 2 minute drive to town centre. Great views from chalet overlooking fields and river. Very peaceful with each chalet completely detached and totally self sufficient. Nice touch having the heater alight on arrival.

Room Tip: All chalets appear equal.
