Four of us (great friends in the 60 - 63 age group) took this tour on Saturday with Mel as our guide. We had a fantastic time visiting wineries, a brewery, olive oil producer, chocolate maker and distillery.

Mel has fantastic local knowledge and is very friendly, informative and fun. She took us to places we would never have known about and gave us loads of information about other places to see and do while we were in the region.

Mel was very generous with her time and not once did we feel rushed. Lunch was at the Distillery in Margaret River and was delicious with more than enough yummy food to eat.

We all highly recommend doing a tour with Tipsy Tours and enjoying visiting the wineries in and around Augusta which do not get the same tourist attention as those in Margaret River.

Our tour was excellent value for money, collected at 9.45 am and dropped off at the end of the day at 5 pm.

Tipsy Tours is a "must do" on your ventures down south!!

Our tour guide Mel was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She is personable, knowledgeable and super nice. Mel was our personal chauffeur for the day taking us to some of her personal favorites boutique style wineries. We can't say enough about the tour, it was one of the best days we've had together by ourselves as parents being driven around = bliss.

Hamelin Bay Wines - What a view!!!
Glenarty Road / Kerfuffle Wines - Love the wines, Bob the working dog, tasting the grapes and chatting with Sasha the owner. We're so looking forward to going back when the renovations have been completed.
Arlewood Estate - Lovely spot, with very personable customer service.
Whirwind Olives - It was interesting learning the facts about olives, sampling yummy oils / dukkah / olives etc
Margaret River Distilling Company for lunch - Great spot, loved the food.
The Beer Farm - Cool place to hang out, with great beers and atmosphere.
Temper Chocolate - YUMMMMMM & a coffee from next door.
And on the way back to Hamelin Bay Caravan Park we had to stop at my favourite place Boranup Karri Forest for some pics.

We've been spreading the word to friends, and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Mel was a pleasure to deal with, right from the time we enquired and booked her tour. We were the only ones booked on the day and we left it in Mel's capable hands to decide where to go. She took us to some of her favourite places, all of them with fantastic products and very memorable. First stop was Hamelin Bay wines, a picturesque setting with rolling hills covered in vineyards. This is where we started our wine collection which was later shipped home when we filled the box.
Next stop was Kerfuffle Wines, still in the process of building their Cellar Door so our tasting was planned to be held on their verandah. Due to the not so great weather, Sascha (winery owner) invited us into her home and we tasted the wines around the dining table. It was here that we realised what a rapport Mel has with the people at the wineries she takes her guests to. Whirlwind Olives was next, followed by Arlewood Estate, winner of James Halliday's 'Dark Horse' award for 2017. Another delightful experience.
Lunch was at the Margaret River Distilling Company, with time for a tasting of their spirits.
Moving on from there to the Colonial Brewing Co for a beer paddle (not included in the price of the tour) and then to the best chocolate factory in the area, Temper, Temper. Also popped in to the olive producer next door.
We headed back to Augusta from there, discussing plans for dinner. We told Mel we were going to walk to the fish and chip shop (because we couldn't drive now!) at the top of our street to buy some bronze whaler shark. Mel said that she was going around further to Colourpatch Café to buy fish and chips for her own dinner and offered to bring us some back and we could just pay her for it. Good deal! Full marks Tipsy Tours! Thanks Mel, above and beyond service!

I have recently moved to Australia from the US and what an amazing experience I had within a week of being here. Mel picked us up and took me, my boyfriend and a friend on a private tour for my birthday. We chose Augusta rather than Margaret River region and boy are we glad we did! This was better than any tour that I've been on, mel was so personable and she took us to such a fun winery, Kerfuffle Wines, where we got to experience a private tasting and tour before they were even open! The sting rays at Hamelin Bay was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. Being a local , she knows so much about the area and people who live there which made the quality of the tour that much better! We will definitely be bringing back more people for a great experience, thanks Mel!

We had a great time with Mel and Michael on a tour over the Australia Day long weekend. The bus is very clean and perfect for large groups, there were 12 of us and was plenty of room They have a great knowledge of the area and a good relations with many of the wine makers. They even managed to get us into an extra winery before lunch. Thanks for an awesome tour.
