This hotel is situated about one kilometre outside Agia Efimia in a very quiet location. No passing traffic to disturb the tranquility. It took about 15 minutes to walk into town. The return walk may take a little longer as it is up a slight incline which becomes steeper as the hotel approaches.
The hotel is built into the hillside and, I would think, all rooms offer fantastic views of the bay. Unfortunately accessing the swimming pool, reception or the rooms requires walking up and down a lot of stairs. There are steps from the road up to the swimming pool (level 1) and then more steps up to the dining room (level 3) and
reception (level 4). The rooms are situated further up from reception with further steps up to level 6 and a lift providing access to levels 7-9. It is not unfortunately suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. It is possible to walk up and down a sloping drive but in many places it is quite steep.
On the plus side the rooms were kept very clean with towels and bed linen being changed most days. There didn't seem to be the option not to have linen and towels changed which is unusual these days. Housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient.
Only grumble was that there were no shelves or cupboards in the bathroom and in the bedroom there was only the one double wardrobe so storage facilities were limited.
Dining room has a nice verandah facing out to the bay and a lovely place from which to enjoy breakfast.
Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. Unusually it was self-service in the extreme with it even being necessary to take own cutlery, plates and cups to the table!
Receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful as was the young lady who served at the pool bar with nothing being too much trouble for either of them.
The pool area is excellent with there being a good sized childs' pool and the longest swimming pool that I have experienced at a hotel. It was probably 25 metres long and a joy in which to swim.
I would happily recommend this hotel but be aware of the limitations. The nature of the hotel is such that, other than at night, one is outside most of the time which is great.

Just got back from our first visit to the KBP, if you want somewhere to relax then this is the place, peace and quiet by the bucket load, hardly any noise at all.The staff are exceptional always willing to help you ( even with your greek ) and they are very friendly right from the management through to the people that help maintain the rooms.nothing is to much trouble.
The views from your room are stunning , the rooms are kept very clean.I cannot praise this place enough, other hotels could learn a thing or two from these people.

However...the ONLY down side is due to its location,I would not recommend this hotel to the disabled or those who find it hard to walk, but saying that,I'm sure if you contact the hotel, they may be able to find a way to help, that's how good they are,If you have small children ,there is a Childs pool and a slide ect,it is a sun trap,so you will need to cream up
I will be coming back here, (the greek lady's are now in my top 5 most beautiful :)

A big thank you to everyone, and I hope to see you again soon

Room tip: Hire a car, take your snorkle, and cream up.

We stayed here for 10days. A lovely hotel with extremely friendly & helpful staff. We had a deluxe d/room with stunning sea view. Fresh sheets & towels daily. An amazing selection available at breakfast. Agia Efimia is also the perfect spot for exploring the rest of the island. The only thing against it is the steep hillside that it sits on, you need to be pretty fit & able. It’s well worth the climb

I needed a break where rest was guaranteed. Having been to this place a few years ago I hoped that things hadn’t changed and I wasn’t disappointed. Its impossible to fail to relax in the capable hands of the Master Cocktail Maker Bob, Marios and the lovely Kathrine who simply makes your day down at the beautiful pool just perfect.

The food is great, well priced and quickly adjusted to suit your needs. Nancy will be floating around the restaurant (and cupboards) to make your meal perfect.

Totally professional, friendly family run hotel.

Thanks for the therapy

I’ll be back
