Stayed here last weekend while visiting Thousand NY and Boldt Castle. Check in was very easy and the staff was very pleasant. We had a king suite. Room was clean, we were on the 4th floor and it was quiet. The location of the hotel was awesome. A couple hundred yards off of 81. The restaurant choices was fantastic. You can eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, Ruby Tuesday’s, Sonic, Five guys, chipotle’s, and the grill in the Hilton right next door, no need to drive after a long day. Breakfast was a disappoint though. we have stayed at other Holiday Inn expresses over the past year and this one was not up to their usual standards. Choices weren’t as much and we constantly had to wait for them to refill everything each day. The layout with the plates and utensils in the middle made it awkward to get the food. If we came up this way again I think we would try one of the other chains in the area. Also there isn’t much parking unless you want to park your car in the back, but my husband likes to look out the window to keep an eye on it. There was no noise being that close the the highway also.

This is a very clean hotel, the room was great, also very clean. Good breakfast included. Staff were very helpful and efficient...excellent. It's close to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here two nights in a row and had problems both nights with rowdy, drunk wedding guests. The second night we had to call the front desk after talking to the LOUD guests hanging out in the hallway outside our rooms and getting no reaction. (We had three people getting up at 4 AM to catch a flight.) He talked to them twice but they were unstoppable. When I mentioned it to friends in Oconomowoc after we left they noted that they'd had the same problems the weekend before when they had stayed here. It was clear that the hotel knew they were hosting people from a wedding but there was no plan to help the rest of us sleep or the poor guy working the night desk manage the rowdy guests. They need a night security guard or a conference room where they can invite those who want to be loud in the middle of the night.

We were here last weekend for a softball tournament. The hotel was at or near capacity. They were friendly and accommodating. When another family from our team was placed on a different floor then us, they had no problem moving them to a room on our floor. Obviously there was a lot of softball teams staying here this weekend. Hotel staff were nice to our children, and tolerant of their “teenage” behavior. They were helpful with our girls during their scavenger hunt made by their coaches, not hesitating to take selfies with them. Big shout out to Mike who was friendly the entire weekend every time we saw him. He was always around and willing to help out with whatever was needed. We had to leave the hotel before breakfast started on Sunday to make it to our game on time, so they had out all the breads, muffins, bagels, fruit and yogurt, so our girls didn’t go to their game hungry. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially to teams that are in town for a tournament!

I stayed st this hotel during a family trip. I have no complaints on the facility or the receptionists. Breakfast, however was a different story. Half of the items were not available and had to wait for them to be restocked, which made our breakfast longer than usual. Even the regular coffe was out. To make matters worse, when we reached 10:00 AM (the time breakfast was over), the lady in charge of breakfast started pulling food away, even when half of the the tables had customers who were still trying to eat. This is the first time I have experience this. I wanted to let the lady managing the breakfast about how I felt about it, but she seem like she was having a bad day. I hope that was all, a bad day; not common practice.
