We love visiting a Triple D joint whenever we can and this one hit the spot. We all had salads to start and agreed the dressings were unique and tasty, definitely homemade. We then shared a spanakopita before our main dishes arrived. One main dish was falafel and although it tasted different then what we are used to (cinnamon maybe!) we agreed it was quite tasty and we loved the consistency from piece to piece. I had the Gyro with rice pilaf and again both were quite tasty and the pilaf was unlike any we had before (vermicelli and basmati rice maybe!). Also, to their credit when one of the salads was delivered incorrect we were told to keep it and they'd happily bring another, class move there! We'd have given it five stars but although not crowded they were out of soup plus out of the lamb, but in their defense it was Syracuse Dining Week. We were more than pleased in the end and will be back.

My wife and I came upon this eatery while walking around the Armory Square area. Byblos offers a fairly diverse menu which is reasonably priced. We each had the spanakopita for an appetizer. This item was nothing special and was cool in the middle. I would recommend against it.

For our meals we had the chicken gyro and fattoush salad. Both of these items were delicious. Highly recommend both with a topping of Feta. The service was excellent. Total for our bill with 2 spanakopita appetizers, chick gyro and fattoush salad $23. I have attached photographs of the current menu for your reference.

This place is expensive for the portions of food you get. My gyro was dry, chewy meat, and it didn't come with a lot of meat or veggies. Waitress was slow , didn't even give us silverware and napkins until we were half done eating . It took forever to get the food and we were one of two tables in the whole place.

Title sums it up... our waitress was very pleasant, the space itself was fine, but the food was very disappointing. A $10 shawarma pita tasted ok but was tiny, served alone, and contained very little meat and not much else (one half was basically empty). An eggplant pita was just a hulking scoop of baba ganoush in a pita (could have been very nice grilled or the baba ganoush at least dressed up in some way). A side order of white beans came on baby sized serving dish, with no garnish of any sort and maybe 3 or 4 tablespoons of beans. The worst, however, were the 'steak fries'. These seemed to be quartered baked potatoes, dusted or battered, then fried. These were served partially burnt, in a giant pool of oil, and were cold on the inside (obviously pre-made then 'warmed' up). I was so hungry after my pita that I ate one or two, but had to stop not wanting to feel ill.

Somehow, for what was a spur of the moment choice (with no drinks!), we left about $40 poorer. And pretty regretful too.
