Our dinner out was much anticipated and in honor of one in our group of six. The drinks at the bar were intriguing and tasty. A ginger basil margarita for instance. We were there and seated at a wobbly table that was fixed several minutes later. The menu read in absolutely stunning fashion and the anticipation of a fabulous meal grew and permeated the group. The appetizers came out quickly and were so so at best. Stick to the raw bar items as far as appetizers go... Probably good advice and when in a beach area anyway. The entrees were so so at best, with the porterhouse steak being the winner. There was a special halibut fish that sounded great but proved to be rather bland and boring. Desserts were the strong suit of the restaurant, and the lone bright spot. The service from the server on down to all of the support staff and on up to the maitre d' was poor. Completely indifferent to our needs, we were ignored for long periods of time and very little care was taken to ensure a fine dining experience. I have been to many of David Burke's restaurants & I am generally favorably impressed but certainly not this time. I will not return.

Now Delmonico's and, even though we were expecting something a bit more interesting, it was not bad. The menu does not offer a wide range of selection which is not a bad thing but was a bit boring.
The owner, North Italian, was very gracious and the staff was friendly/professional. It was a week day so the place was not crowded and the staff was not too "present".

The risotto was good, the red snapper as well (would serve it with a different contour) but their meat is what you want to try...very good.

Great cocktail menu (try the vodka with thyme) and an enchanting dehors which will allow you to eat outside. They need to work on parking though: there is some kind of parking lot behind the restaurant but it is still unclear if it is for customer use or not...
You can park across the street but, people in the Hamptons tend to like the private parking option when eating out and, since they have one there...why not use it!

Now, when July hits the Hamptons, every restaurant will "upscale" the prices on their menus and, it's just part of the game. However, this restaurant has exagerated a bit and prices are quite high for what they offer....

The interior is lovely! Romantic ambiance...

I once liked this place, but I will never go there again after our Saturday night disaster. Bad service and food were abundant. The crabcakes were overcooked and over seasoned, the salad had too much dressing, the branzino was tasteless and the mussels although fresh, were cooked in a very unusual broth. We had to ask repeatedly for silverware after they finally cleared each course. After asking several times throughout the night, we never got bread, the candles lit, dessert menu, ice water, or forks, but luckily we did get the check - then we were able to pay and get the hell out!

Was very disappointed when I went to Savanna's this summer. The decor and ambiance is still lovely but the menu changed...and not for the better.

The meatballs and pasta dish was not on the menu anymore and was replaced by a very overpriced pasta dish.

The service was very slow and the staff was rude.

Phenomenal restaurant. I was incredibly pleased by the food. It was very up-scale and lived up to its name. The overall feeling of the restaurant was very calming, and relaxing. I felt very much at ease and could enjoy my food, whereas other restaurants are overly noisy and make it hard to enjoy. The service was quick and very sincere. The staff there are very inviting and make you excited for your dinner to come. I would recommend this restaurant HIGHLY to anyone. If you're in the area you have to check out this restaurant, and if you're not in the area, then drive down to the area and eat there.
