Not from the area but as far as gardens go, this potential oasis is poorly maintained. The gentleman inside the arboretum was not knowledgeable about the plants at all. Sad. Many of the specimens around the grounds were dead or left for dead. Not enough pruning, weeding, etc. is obvious. Even many of the little signs around the grounds that are used to identify plants and trees are broken, fallen over or missing. Definite earmarks for lack of maintenance. Disappointing because it could be beautiful. I would probably not return in the future.
