Pluses: Former La Quinta, big, quiet rooms. Cheaper than other places in Rochester on a busy weekend. Friendly staff had great food recommendations, although there aren't many places in the immediate area. Steps from nice Erie Canal path for walking, jogging.

Minuses: Showing its age. Not really convenient to anything. Neighborhood is OK, but deteriorates to the east—empty your car.

Pictures are very deceiving. Whole hotel is very run down. Our "non smoking" room smelled of stale smoke. The room was very over priced, furniture was chipped, carpet was filthy. Hair pins on floor from previous guest. Location is in an industrial area, not family friendly. Because this is no longer a chain hotel, it has gone down hill. Staff not friendly at all. Choose a different hotel. You will get a much cleaner hotel for the same price somewhere else.

I recently stayed overnight at the radiance Inn in Rochester. Pretty convenient location, though not many places to eat after dark. Parking lot well lit.
Room was quiet and reasonably priced. They do have some smoking rooms available for those of us that still admit to smoking. Slept comfortably.
Would stay again if I am in the area in need of a room

You get what you pay for. We wish we had got something closer to I-90. Rooms were okay. Some of the "guests" were questionable so we made sure we never went out alone.
Breakfast was the best part as the bagels were fresh and we filled up on waffles too.
We jokingly wondered if we would have a vehicle in the morning but it was there and untouched.

We booked this hotel on priceline. It was terrible as soon as we walked in. Everything was disgusting. We asked to get a new room, the front desk said someone would be up to try and move us. We waited and waited, no one came. Finally my boyfriend said screw this because it was so disgusting. We got our money back with priceline and booked a different hotel.
