This is one of my FAVORITE places - I go as often as I can. Great movies, free parking, free music (last night the Rochester institution --- the White Hots!), original art and up until last night, wonderful food. Orange Glory used to make their incredibly delicious lentil burgers - not to be believed - died and gone to heaven burgers.

I was heartbroken last night after the movie, to bite into a surprisingly tasteless lentilburger with hardly any chipotle mayo, with a shred of lettuce on a dry bun. I do not know if the Little Cafe is still using Orange Glory, and if this was just a lackluster presentation cobbled together for a busy night, but I doubt I will be ordering this again here. I may try Orange Glory to see if I can still get it there. VERY unhappy. :(

Just saw Eye in the Sky at the Little Theater and both the movie and theater were great. The theater is not over priced at any time, discounts seniors at 62+. The popcorn is fresh, popped there and can be bought without butter and in varying sizes. Best part is they pack the bag. There are other special treats from local bakeries all reasonably priced. The theaters are older and the seating is slowly being updated. I was in one of the older ones and the seats told that story. However, the angle of the floor permits one to see from any place in the theater and unless the person in front is 6'6" over them as well. It tends to be a tad loud but that is due to the concrete walls and plenty of speakers along the walls. If you didn't hear something, you probably should go to an audiologist. Going to the Little Theater is a step back to the older days of theater going and is well worth the trip. The marquee is old and beautiful as is the building. Anyone interested in older architecture should make this a stop.

Great venue for Rochester's much loved ImageOut Festival each year.

We, as a couple, enjoy visiting The Little Theater and supporting our local establishments. The ticket prices are reasonable, as are the costs of the refreshments.

We do wish there had been more parking closer to the building but that is not possible with the location of the various other businesses and residential spaces so close by.

We love listening to live music in the Cafe. It is intimate, fun and collegial. Parking is sometimes a bit of a challenge, but well worth it. Also, there is no cover charge.

If you want to see great movies at an even better price this is the place for you. Feels like and old time theater and yes the ever seat in the place is not a comfy one but that adds to the feel of the place. Everyone at the theater seems happy to be working there. The refurbished women's room on the first floor of theater #1 is very nice. Can't wait for the restoration to proceed further. Most of all the popcorn is excellent and the offer a wide variety of locally produced baked good for your pleasure. Don't miss a visit to The Little!
