Friendly staff and fresh sushi, great prices for the quality buffet- we usually don't do buffets, but ice cream was excellent too! Almond flavor and green tea!

Although this is a small buffet the food is yummy. To a sushi snob, I'm sure this place will disappoint but for someone who is trying out the raw fish, this is a good place to start. You can get a sampling of some good sushi without breaking the bank. their hot foods are always fresh and refreshed frequently although the menu has not really changed in a year. There is plenty of sweet and fried Americanized Asian food here. Overall, it's pretty good food for a fair price.

This place has a wonderful sushi bar and plenty of other great dishes to try.
The people that run it are very pleasant and when in the area we always try to go.
It is very convenient in the plaza right on nine I believe it is called the pughkeepsie Plaza mall. 2600 south rd. GREAT Place

I agree with most of the reviewers--decent food, and a very reasonable base price. We have visited several times and I always have the raw oysters and clams--my favorites. The sushi is so-so--very Americanized. The buffet has a large number of selections, including seafood options (e.g. octopus) not usually found on Asian buffets. Most of the food is somewhat bland, but you can always add your own seasonings. The biggest drawback is the atmosphere. This is the only restaurant in my experience where the staff continually cleans while you eat and the cleaning supplies are stacked up against the wall. It's a favorite family place, so there are lots of kids, with all that entails. And for some reason (and I'm not an expert on acoustics) the noise level is VERY high.

I've been here several times with friends and there is something for even the pickiest people. There is a wide variety of sushi, peel and eat shrimp, mussels, and clams on the Japanese side. On the Chinese side there is a very wide variety of seafood and meats, dim sum, wonton and miso soup. They also have a salad bar and dessert area including several varieties of ice cream. The price is reasonable.
