The hotel feels more like a home. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Whenever anything is needed, the staff gets things very quickly...like towels, or paper products, etc. The hotel offers a complete breakfast every day with everything a person could want to eat for breakfast. There is a make your own waffle station. Eggs, egg whites, sausage, bacon, a special veggie crumble for the vegetarian in your family. All types of breads, fresh fruit and yogurt. Oatmeal and dry cereal, the list goes on. Each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m., the hotel offers what they call a mix...it features wonderful and filling dinners, free of charge. They served hamburgers and chips with soft drinks one evening. A wonderful lettuce bowl filled with chicken and veggies. Sometimes it is tacos or sausages on the grill. It is always fresh and very tasty. Even the children like the food, which is important when traveling. The residence also has coffee and tea along with fruit water available to residents all day and evening.
There are board games available at the front desk, a basketball court, a small mini golf area, a poll table, a very nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub to help pass the time. There is an on-site laundry facility as well as a gym for exercising.
The hotel is centrally located and there are many acitivities nearby to enjoy. There are also grocery stores nearby if you wish to cook your own meals. The kitchens in the residence are amazing, just like being at home. Full sized refrigerators help keep meal costs to a minimum.

Thank you for choosing us as your home away from home during your trip. Our rooms are more like mini apartments which many guest really enjoy especially any long term travelers. There is so many amenities offered like the guest laundry, indoor pool and hot tub, and gym (we also provide guest with the option to check out gold gym's passes for the day). We hope you come stay with us again!

We came to this hotel and everything was excellent. the staff was very friendly and they treated us with courtesy and respect. the Breakfast and mix that they served was wonderful. The housekeeping staff kept our room very clean and well stocked with all things we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Room tip: from my experience with this hotel everything in here is wonderful and safe

We stayed here for two weeks during our son's move in to Vassar College. The location is very convenient and in close proximity to restaurants, shops, colleges, historic sites and train station. They do have some valuable staff on their team such as Monserrath at the front desk and Major at the breakfast station.
However, we noticed that some items were 'missing' from our room on the 4th and 7th day there (please keep in mind that at this time we were there for 7 days but our room had only been cleaned twice). On one occasion, a gentleman (not housekeeping) entered our unit (he had a key card!) and was surprised we were there! It was on day 7 that I advised the front desk if they could let me know which key cards were used to enter my unit, and to deny housekeeping and other entry into the unit (due to items missing). I also placed the 'no service' tag on the door for clarification
. The general manager, Seif, advised me that they would need to gain access into the unit once every 3 days as protocol, so I scheduled a cleaning during my presence on a morning three days prior to my departure. So 13 night stay, 3 cleanings.
I really enjoy the Marriott brand, but was really disappointed by this. With the amount charged, we expect the convenience to stay and return to a clean room without being concerned about the whereabouts of our belongings.

We arrived last week for a several night stay. I asked if we could upgrade to a two Queen Studio from our single King Studio. Marriott went the extra mile and gave us a two bed/ two bath suite. Nice!
Room was clean and orderly like most Residence Inns we stay at. There was a problem with two of the three televisions and they were fixed immediately. Garbage disposal crapped out, fixed immediately.

Room tip: Room 428 is a corner suite, away from the elevators.

Stayed here 2 nights for a wedding in the area. Good location. Clean but dated rooms and furnishings. We had the big 2 bedroom suite which was spacious but the air conditioning is not well balanced so one bedroom is comfy while the other is hot. Otherwise priced ok for a room this size. Plenty of parking. Staff pleasant and helpful.
