We stayed in Old Forge because it was dark and late and we just wanted to get off the road. There were a number of motels there, but we decided that from the outside, the Adirondack Lodge looked the best. The young man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. He got us a room that was not near other occupied rooms, helped us with choices of restaurants, and helped us figure out how to use the TV.
The room was a large king with rustic furniture. We thought it was nice. There was a table with two chairs, a desk with a mirror and chair, iron and fridge. The bathroom vanity had nice bright lights. There were no problems at all with the room, aside from our inability to figure out the TV, but that is a regular occurrence for us.
Since we arrived late and left early, we didn't see much more of what was there, so I can't evaluate the other amenities at the lodge. Given our experience, we would stay there again.More
