The double rooms are big and the beds are comfy. Owner Nati is very helpful: from organizing a tour, to arranging a minibus, nothing is impossible. However, sometimes his willingness to help is a bit too much and it feels a bit like he is pushing you to arrange something through him.

Overall, it’s probably the best place to stay in Bahir Dar when you’re on a budget and looking for a proper place on a good location.

Guys at the hostel are super helpful, manager Nati is always ready to answer all your questions, organize any tour or transportation to anywhere for a very decent price. The room was simple but cosy, the location is very central, locked gate makes the place feel very safe, the wifi was woking well and all in all the place is a great deal for value you get!

the room was very cold at night. there were mosquitoes in the room. they rent out some of the rooms to locals due to lack of tourists. it's very noisy in the mornings. after i left i realized someone had taken a Helly Hansen thermal base layer shirt from my backpack. i was just lucky that they didn't take something more important. i had a single room and kept it locked while i was out during the day. how it happened is anyone's guess. Stay here at your own risk.

Room Tip: all the rooms are on the ground floor and will be cold at night.

I had the pleasure of spending 2 nights there recently and was happy to be in a backpacker environment again and meet and share the experience with other travelers. Nati and the staff were also very warm, welcoming and helpful. Even great complimentary coffee !! Hope to see you guys again, my fam in Bahir Dar :)

Great place. Large rooms for the price. Nice that there is a courtyard where you can get a coffee, chill and meet with other travellers.
The location of the hostel is also very good, close to main road but quiet.

Nati is super friendly, a great host, and ensures you have a great time, helping to book tours. He also gives good recommendation.
Overall enjoyed my stay.

One word is warning: lots of mosquitos so ensure you use the net :)
