We stayed a week in this charming, comfortable cottage right on the lake. It was very clean and well appointed with nearly everything you’d need for a week’s stay. Bryan was a phone call or email away, which came in very handy when we locked ourselves out! Tip: don’t lock the screen doors!
Penn Yan is very close; about 8 minutes to grocery store, meat market and excellent, home made ice cream stores.
Kitchen equipped with basic spices and condiments, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, vinegar. Full kitchen-dishwasher too!
Bath and a half-both newly remodeled. Hand soap available, but no bath soap or shampoo, so bring your own.
It’s important to note that access to house is down about 12 steps to front door. Once inside there is another 8 steps down to living room, kitchen, porch and deck and lake access. Anyone with mobility issues should know this in advance. It’s also important regarding carrying things into and out of cottage.
That being said, once you’re in, the lake is at your feet, along with a dock, paddle boat and two single kyacks!
We give it five stars-we loved being there! Thank you, Bryan!
Very nice place -- on the water -- very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again but with a bit of better weather, that's why they invented cards. Thanks Bryan
This neat and clean cottage has a fantastic view over the Keuka lake. It has almost everything that you need for staying in a vacation house. The cottage also provides one paddle boat and two Kayaks. Although we didn't get a chance to go kayaking, we enjoyed riding the paddle boat a lot. Overall, the cottage makes you feel like a home away from home. We had a wonderful stay and would like to visit again!
