Lynn and Bill are not only the most welcoming hosts you will meet, they have a property that is outstanding in every way. We spent a weekend here with our granddaughter who lives in NYC and wanted to escape the city. And escape she did...to a small corner or paradise. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated with every amenity anyone could want, including a very comfortable extra bed for our granddaughter. Breakfast was copious, delicious and we had such fun at the table with the other guests. Best of all was sitting on the terrace watching the full moon over the Hudson. One of those moments you never want to end. And we left with a bag full of goodies. Leaving was the hardest of all. You will not find a better place to stay! We just wish we lived closer.

If you are looking for a wonderful place to spend some time, where your every need is anticipated, this is the place! The rooms are exquisite, the view is incomparable, and the hosts are delightful. Oh, and the food ... yummy and plentiful. I cannot say enough about this place. It is simply wonderful!

Room Tip: The best views are from the Hudson room and the room next to it - great views of the river.

This small B&B is located on a quiet cul de sac on a slight height which affords a great view. We stayed in their Hudson room which is extra large and comfortable. Our hostess Lynn is very good natured and the kitchen is well equipped. We would visit again in a heartbeat!

It's true - every review you read about this place is 100% true. Its a gorgeous home with the most charming and welcoming hosts. The rooms are perfect and the hospitality is beyond great. The breakfasts were spectacular and as good as any 5 star restaurant. We loved it so much we already booked our next visit!

Room Tip: Get the rooms overlooking the Hudson!

I've been meaning to write this review since we visited in July 2016, but everyetime I think about it, I dont know how I can do justice to this fantastic place. My only recommendation can be to definitely go there!!!

First of all, Bill and Lynn are the kindest hosts. Lynn bakes brownies and muffins every day, and the breakfasts are incredible. Getting home in the evening there were pots of nuts and savoury nibbles, as well as more cakes, and also wine for when we wanted it!
We came mainly do to some walking, and Bill found maps for us and gave recommendations of where to go. Its a short drive to Bear Mountain, which is beautiful and has a small lake you can row on, and a quick walk to Fort Montgomery and a small zoo. Its also close to lots of vineyards and we did some great winetasting.

We stayed in the Tara room, which doesn't face the river, but it was luxurious - a huge very comfortable bed, ens-suite, a sofa, TV, so much space. We got enough of the view during breakfast, which was served on the porch, with the best view of the river and the mountains opposite. The porch also had rocking chairs and a table, so again in the evenings we would sit there to enjoy the view (with some wine!)
There are plenty restaurants nearby and within driving distance, but we also ordered pizza one evening and had it out on the porch (Bill and Lynn kept an eye out for when the car arrived, and phoned up when it was taking too long!)

I honestly can't describe how amazing this place was, how perfect, and how relaxing. We would love to go back.

Room Tip: The Tara room and the Hudson room are probably the best, and the River room is nice and offers great rooms.
