Something changed and not for the good. This was our third visit and were totally disappointed. Up until our last visit we were always very pleased with the food. The food this time was not good. My pasta dish lacked enough sauce to cover half of the penne. The penne that didn't have sauce was actually cold. My wife's chicken marcella had no marcella flavor at all. The service was also very slow. The restaurant was not busy when we were there. We brought another couple and had shared, expect a great meal, it was almost embarrassing. Not sure if we'd go back.

OK, I love garlic knots and when I was there last Friday for lunch with " the girls" we were first treated to a platter of piping hot fresh bread from the oven with dipping sauce and garlic knots... Yum... we got the small Vegetarian pizza and it was very good.. the small had 8 good size slices... waitress was friendly and efficient... I recommend this place.. I want to try other flavors of pizza...

A large and impromptu family gathering brought us to Pietro and Son and what a wonderful outing it was! The staff is can-do and efficient, and with only an hour’s notice, welcomed all 23 of us with open arms, adeptly serving a room of people who were constantly in motion. We were really impressed.

The hostess had suggested we eat in their banquet room which is at street level, and features a dedicated restroom which worked very well given we were a large group, ages 4-92. The banquet room is a generous space, with lots of room to socialize at tables or “walk the room” in conversation. One of our party is wheelchair-bound and she found it very easy to navigate.

We ordered several hand tossed NY-style pizzas, along with garlic knots, tossed salads, wings and chicken fingers. And all were delicious! The dough is really special - a terrific flavor, and a texture that’s crispy and light - we found ourselves eagerly eating every last bit of crust. The sausage had just the right amount of spice and the ingredients overall impressed as fresh and flavorful.

Don’t forget to visit the middle room where you can watch the master tossing pizza dough - a real talent.

My thanks to the team at Pietro’s for a very memorable afternoon. We’ll certainly be back!
