I just spent the weekend at The Coffey House. We had a wonderful time! Ellie and Rick were marvelous hosts, the breakfast was delicious and the room was luxurious and comfortable. I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Luxury Suite, which was sublime. You can't go wrong with any room though!

Everything was perfect. Rick and Ellie are wonderful hosts. Every detail was thought of. The suite is by far the nicest room we've ever stayed in. The three course breakfast was delicious, elegant, and relaxing. There's a huge living room and a rec room in the lower level with a pool table and a fully stocked refrigerator. The grounds are beautiful as well.

My wife and I stayed at the Coffey House the night of our wedding. After a long day we needed a tranquil place to retire, just the two of us. We absolutely made the right decision. We stayed in the suite which had a beautiful large bathroom with a large tub and shower, soft comfy towels as well as bathrobes. The bed was huge and comfortable and there was also a gas fireplace in the room. There was a personalized bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived which was a very nice touch. In the morning we helped ourselves to some delicious cookies and coffee before breakfast was served. Breakfast was a three course meal, on the deck overlooking the expansive lawn. First it was fresh banana bread, followed by a fruit parfait, and then a delicious quiche for the main, accompanied with fresh squeezed orange juice. We only stayed the one night but I believe the menu is changed daily. A really terrific and memorable way to cap off our wedding!

Room Tip: We stayed in the suite and were not disappointed. It features a gas fireplace, a huge bathroom with a large bathtub as well as a separate large shower. Very romantic.

We stayed at the Coffey House B&B over the holiday weekend, and it was precisely the experience we were looking for when we booked the reservation.

The house itself is immaculate -- everything is clean, classy and beautiful. They bought the place recently and did a lot of renovations, so everything appears brand new inside. That said, the house is very comfortable, with plenty of antique knick-knacks and books littering the shelves.

The food was great too. They serve a three course breakfast, typically with two small courses (one carbohydrate, one fruit dish) and a large entree platter. You don't come away from it stuffed, but then again, we usually refused the seconds that Ellie always offered, since there were so many things to drink and eat in the North Fork.

The location is absolutely gorgeous. Out back, there is a well-kept and photogenic sprawling lawn. I loved waking up early in the morning to have a coffee on the back porch (She keeps a Keurig in the basement, for those who want coffee outside of normal hours). She also had homemade chocolate chip cookies for us when we came back one afternoon -- what a treat!

The experience of staying at the Coffey House was, above all, peaceful. We didn't ever feel intruded upon, but we always felt that they were available when we needed them. We were able to come and go as we pleased at any hour.

This is a great place! I would definitely stay there again!
