AMAZING. So beautiful and relaxing! Very clean. Hospitality was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed having separate tables for dining, I am not a morning person. I would love to have the exact same suite at home. Traveled the world and have been in many superb hotels, this is definitely on the top of my list. Walking distance to main street just a few blocks away.

Hi Patti! We love making lists like that! And thank you very much (we're blushing!), but we can't take all the credit there; we have been inspired by the craft of rockstar innkeepers all over the country who have graciously shared their knowledge and their ideas with us to knit into the Landmark experience. In a way, we proudly stand on their shoulders. So much going on this winter as we continue to move the Landmark to this inspired vision. Sunfish and Daysailer will be completely reimagined, including new furnishings, flooring, baths (Daysailer), even patio and exterior doors with the shades between the glass! And Summer's Suite will be converted into our newest luxury offering, including a personal sauna, flooring, draperies, lighting and... wait for it... a fireplace! It will undoubtedly be the finest accommodation in Cooperstown! Come see us soon!

Best,

Robin

We just enjoyed a fabulous two-night stay in the Campanella Suite of the Landmark Inn. We had our own fire place, private porch and dream shower. It was amazing!
Each morning we were delighted with a delicious breakfast, lovely conversation and welcoming staff. Robin is the perfect host, ensuring every detail for the most memorable getaway weekend! Including arranging for Chef Vita to prepare the lemon rosemary french toast with lemon curd and maple syrup. Exceeding our expectations!
We loved our stay and look forward to a return visit. Thank you Robin and the Landmark Inn!

Thank YOU Katy!

It was our pleasure to host you! We're so pleased you enjoyed all the the Campanella Suite has to offer. As winter approaches, more and more guests will enjoy its fireplace after watching the snow fall from their private sitting porch or literally "turning on the (body) jets" of its magnificent marble dream shower for two!

And how cozy... that just about a month from now our beautiful 1856 Inn will be decorated in its finest for the holidays, and a destination on its own

Come see us soon! Chef Vita will be waiting in her Santa hat, as will we!

Best, Robin

Beautiful inn. As soon as we got there I knew I wanted to come back next year. Our room had a private entrance which we liked. Nicely decorated with lots of charm and modern amenities. The gourmet breakfasts were fabulous. Our stay there was part of a package with behind the scene tours of the Hall of Fame. We loved everything about the trip. The inn is in walking distance to the Hall of Fame, restaurants and stores. Robin is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

Thank you Linda! We are blessed by our guests and proud of our partnership with the Hall of Fame for its VIP tours, which really give folks an up-close and personal view of some of the Hall's cherished items. Some guests have held a game bat used by Babe Ruth! Others, Ted Williams! Not to mention all the great stories they hear.

Come see us soon!

Robin

Visited Cooperstown for one of my husband's bucket list items. The Inn was very clean and the breakfast meals for the 2 days we stayed were great! Also paid for the shortbread baseball card cookies which were in our room upon arrival. We like to stay at B&Bs when traveling, this one was as good as others we've stayed at. Seems that nicer lodging is not that plentiful in Cooperstown, which is why the owners can charge more than other smaller town B&Bs we've stayed in. The only room available the nights we were looking for was the 2 BR suite, so I took it. So was it worth $850 for 2 nights (as some other reviewers have complained about)? Pricing is all relative depending on what type and quality of lodging you personally want and can afford. We preferred to go overboard on our needs than have stayed in a run down, dirty place - so won't complain about the price since it was our choice. I would recommend that you buy insurance if you are at all nervous about your trip being cancelled for any reason because of the strict cancellation policy. Location was great for walking to the HOF and restaurants. Was a 10 min drive to Ommegang Brewery (and other breweries) and Fly Creek Apple Cider Mill. Beautiful historic place, with creaky floors that I love and all! Nice relaxing visit.

Hi Kelly! Thanks for visiting us and for your thoughtful review. Your kind words and recommendation on trip insurance are much appreciated. As a small property that never overbooks (which large properties often do), we are unable to assume the risk of weather or sickness on behalf of our guests, so we always recommend guests book with a credit card that offers trip insurance as a benefit, or purchase insurance elsewhere.

BIG changes coming to our Summer Suite over the winter as it will be converted from our family suite to a magnificent elegant suite (dare I say the best in Coop?) including a fireplace, grand shower, and personal sauna. We are very excited about this transformation and hope you visit again to enjoy it .

Best,

Robin

My husband and I visited Coopertown to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame, a bucket list item of my husband's! I wanted to stay in one of the many B&Bs in the town and was able to secure a reservation at the Landmark Inn on Chestnut Street. What a beautiful stay we had, great staff and warm and friendly Innkeepers! The rooms were warm and beautifully decorated with all the amenities! The breakfasts were delicious! Location is great, just a few blocks from the town center. Quaint little town with lots of shops and bars and restaurants. The lakefront is stunning, less than 1/2 mile from the Inn! We will definitely be making a trip back in the future and will stay at the Landmark!

Thank Martha! We are so proud of our staff and the dedication they show to ensuring our guests comfort and enjoyment. As the only B&B/Inn in Cooperstown with a dedicated breakfast chef, we know breakfasts are paramount to the guest experience. And Chef Vita is working on a number of soon-to-be-unveiled delicacies that I'm sure will delight our guests even more. Come check them out!

Best,

Robin
