The lighthouse was the only one in the Pacific theater to survive WW2. Its open for visits but a little difficult to find. The lighthouse has some vandalism by those who do not respect history. But, its a great place to visit. Go in a small group or as a couple. No tour needed. As you walk through it you get a bit spooked. But worth it. Visit during daylight do you can find your way in snd out.

Upon entering their lobby you will smell a nice aroma that will lets you relax and will have a nice greetings from their gorgeous receptionists. They are all courteous and friendly. Then the room, its awesome. we had a veranda room wherein in the terrace you can view the sea port and the pool. Service are awesome and the food here are just great. I would love to go back here anytime soon.

Room Tip: veranda is the best for me.

Stayed a couple of nights in October. Staff was nice and friendly. Room was okay but the property is aging. Breakfast was nothing special but the in-room television wasn’t bad. Wi-fi in the room kept going in and out. The loud musical performance/Karaoke one of the evenings was unpleasant, only to be followed by the loud infant or child in the lobby which seemed rob ever stop. All things considered the hotel is a bit overpriced.

The hotel is quite dated however their maintenance is quite commendable. They also showed good attention to detail particularly in bathroom amenity set-up. The ladies room near the function room though has a defective lock on its last cubicle. The bed is very comfortable too. Over-all it is a very nice hotel.

Staffs are very friendly and accommodation from the Bellman to Housekeeping attendant as well as Sands Cafe staffs. Rooms are spacious and i love the bathroom! Food are sumptuous especially for the breakfast. Will recommend it to family and friends.
