Coming from Baltimor6 with p,entry of Polish people bur no Polish restaurants, it always is a ,pleasure to go to this restaurant when visiting Buffalo. Here I can get all of the dishes that I grew fond of when I was younger. Every thing on the menu is a delight.

We tried several platters and soups and everything was wonderful! There were plenty of leftovers due to the large portions. Don't forget to order the Sour Cream Cheesecake for dessert or to go.

Even Polish places no longer serve anything but smoked. Which is to say not a whole lot different from Hillshire Farms sadly. Whats so MADDENING about this place is they MAKE AND SERVE "fresh" polish sausage. Apparently the smoked and fresh mingle somewhere (the oven?) cuz the fresh way more often than not tastes smoked. I HATE SMOKED. When its good its almost as good as my grammas who died in 1966. I order one piece as an appetizer to see how it tastes, hoping i can order a full dinner of the stuff but seldom happens. Ive mentioned it to them too but i guess they do what they do and everyone else eats it so theyre not gonna change. The other food is hit and miss but whenits a hit its really off the charts. Like most places nowadays they settle for inconsistency I suppose rather than train good people and pay them well...Go take a crap shoot when they have a Groupon and cross your fingers. The decor alone is something to ponder...
