My Mum and I came here to but some coffee while my husband was at a hunting store nearby. Nice coffee, bought beans too. Lots of lovely looking naughty pastries tempting us but we resisted. Staff friendly.

After traveling through an unexpected lake effect snowstorm, we were tired and short on time. Used map function to find restaurants near the airport at Buffalo, NY. Finally navigated to Walden Ave, where several were located. Found out that many were closed by 10pm on a Friday night near I-90. Saw a Tim Hortons open. Had not visited Tim Hortons for several years after an incident at a Tim Hortons in OH, where we waited in line close to a half an hour to place an order for breakfast and then were told by a manager that no breakfast items were available that they had just switched over to the lunch menu. Went instead to a local mom-and-pop restaurant that served a delicious breakfast and were very friendly. Decided to go ahead and try them. The children saw the donuts and were excited. Good thing donuts were available. The sandwiches my wife and I wanted were not available, we were told, since it was after 9pm. The menu indicated nothing about time limits on food. No hot sandwiches could be prepared. A couple of substitute items were out of stock. We paid for the children's donuts and grilled cheese sandwiches for them and walked out. Grilled cheese is a favorite of theirs, but they reported that these grilled cheese sandwiches did not taste good and ended up forcing themselves to eat them because they were hungry. Donuts were decent. Two strikes, will not be returning to any Tim Hortons location again. Stopped farther up the New York Expressway at a rest area and saw only Tim Hortons open. Did not even bother to enter their location. Decided to eat snacks we had in our vehicle instead.

Okay I am a Gold Card member of Starbucks, but unless you are getting a drink the masks the bitterness of the coffee served at Starbucks, the alternative anywhere in NY is Tim Horton's then a Dunkin Doughnuts and last would be Starbucks

I enjoyed their breakfast sandwich on a bagel - got the combo that include coffee and a pastry. Great value and taste.
