This is our family favorite and our kids 8-15 love it. They want to come here for their birthday dinners.

Having a pizza lunch midday. Nice eating area with tasting room with barrels on the right side as you enter. There is a decent amount of dining room. We heard the pizza was wood fired and good; it was. Great flavor with thin crispy crust. I had the butternut squash special, great flavor. They seem to use a lot of New York local ingredients (nice). I'm a beer guy, and they had 7 or so NY local craft beers, excellent. Beautiful huge bar made of a large sliced tree trunk. Now for the wine... had a flight of 4 for $10. All were good, but I particularly liked the Frontenac Gris 2015. This one had grapes 100% from Owera. They had to be able to withstand severe cold. I'm no expert, but this white tastes like nothing I'd ever had, so unique and complex. My favorite.

A very belated thank you for your wonderful review of Owera Vineyards. We are so glad you especially enjoyed the Frontenac Gris. It's our estate wine and a very unusual wine....come often and tell all your friends....thank you again

visited twice in two days and was greeted bya crowded, loud, dining room and a patio with three empty tables, which, we were told, couldn't be used due to "inadequate staff" -- so the vaunted food is prepared on time, but sits around waiting for the "inadequate staff" to ste it out? A total waste of time -- one gets the attitude of exclusivity with the actuality of pseudosophistication with the actuality of bumpkin abilities -- must fool a lot of locals! Spare yourself the " 'tude from the dude" and go somewhere else...

If you are in the area, a stop at Owera Vineyards is a must. My dad and I did the 3 wine tasting for $5 each. We actually were treated to 4 tastes...they added a semi-dry reisling as a complimentary extra. Each wine we sampled was wonderful and the woman who assisted us with the tasting was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. We ended up buying 3 bottles to take with us. We will definitely be back to try more wines.

The location of this winery is beautiful. The landscape is lush, green and very inviting. You can see the rows and rows of the vines. Outside sitting is a must just to take in the beautiful view. Very quiet and relaxing inside and outside. The inside is absolutely stunning. The bar is one of a kind and so unusual. Everything is new and fresh looking. Staff is friendly and informative. Wine is displayed and there is plenty of it. Pizza is probably the best around. Service is great, fast and plentiful. Stopped for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and not at all crowded. A must visit and it is off the beaten path. They probably need a little more advertising but all the locals know where to find it.
