A good but not great overall experience; this was our second visit to the Upstairs Bistro for lunch. Our group of four ordered for lunch one quiche and three salads topped with chicken or salmon. No major disappointments with the quality, preparation or presentation of the dishes, only the lack of depth of the offerings on the menu. Our expectations for a menu of several imaginative dishes went unfulfilled. For those with limited budgets be advised that wine servings are a bit pricey ($10-$11 per glass of wine), as are the prices of the main entrees, which ranged from a low of $14 for the quiche to a high of $21 for the salad topped with salmon. For our group, the culinary highlight was the fresh-brewed, deep-flavored coffee served at the conclusion of our meals. It was good to finish our meal on high note.
